Charity Sew Weekends - March, April and May

Our guild has been very busy working on projects for the Festival of Trees for Primary Children's Hospital.  For the past 3 months we have met for "weekend sews" to add to our stash of donated items.  We have accomplished so much!  Quilts, receiving blankets, placemats, aprons, pot holders, and more quilts - just to name a few!  There is something about meeting with all your quilting buddies for a weekend and sewing (and of course eating).  And the sense of accomplishment is tremendous!  We also have show and tell with the finished projects or personal projects.  Below is a few.

Bonnie does amazing things with tricot!

Cathy and her cute boot wall hanging

Deb made this Irish Chain for the Festival of Trees

and this cute "truck" quilt - some little girls will love these!

Look at this amazing photo creation Debbie C did!!!

Janet did both of these wonderful quilts

Kathy made this for her granddaughter - CUTE!

Marcia's chevron quilt for the Festival of Trees - she is the Chevron Queen!

Our next big project will be the July 4th quilt.  IT IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!!!  And don't forget to come to the quilt show at the Wellness Center on July 4th to see all the beautiful quilts!!
