November Sew Weekend

We had our last sew weekend of the year for our November event.  It was a time to finish UFO's or start a new project.  As always there were many laughs, great food and a lot of conversations!  Sometimes we talked too much and sometimes it was dead silence!  Beautiful things were completed but not without mistakes along the way (ask Kathy! ha)  She did a little bit of "un-sewing".  Show and tell on Friday night proved the ladies have been very busy.  We were excited to have Bonnie and Kathleen back.  They've been recuperating from some health issues.

Becky - such pretty colors!

She finished this quilt that her Mom had started years ago - beautiful!

Tina is the new bag lady

Sallie's ripple quilt she started at the Sept. retreat - COOL!!

Norma always has quilts to show and always so beautiful (her and her quilts!!)

Sheri started this at the retreat.  It is for her granddaughter.  So fun!

Now this is cool!!  Great job Jeri

Kathy completed a Christmas quilt with the strips she won last month!!  She is amazing!

Sallie works for the police department and made this fun levi quilt from the various emblems collected by the department.  It will now be on display at the office - now that is cool!

She is also working on table runners.

Our December meeting will be a Hawaiian themed dinner.  New President Sallie Lyman takes over in January - should be another fun year!!!  Remember, if you're interested in joining our guild our first meeting of 2018 will be January 17 at the Blanding library.  Dues are $20 per year.  Come join us!!
