Betty Shumway had a huge amount of new quilts she's finished since the last guild meeting. We were all impressed!
Last year Bonnie Meyer made over 70 pillowcases for her grandkids, and this year she's made 70 bags for them and will fill them with crayons, coloring books, etc, She used the humanitarian pattern provided by Gail Marian. Then she's also made more pillow cases for her great grandchildren. She's been super busy!
Cathy Cosby entertained us by telling about her mini-quilting workshops teaching perfect strangers she met on the flight home how to make hexagons.
Gayle Marion brought two quilts, but the photographer wasn't fast enough to get a pix of the top of her first one--so you just get to see the back.
Connie Wood brought this beautiful heirloom quilt made by her mother.
Even though Gail Glover couldn't attend quilt guild, her good sewing partner Worthy brought two of her completed projects: a Quilt of Valor quilt top, and a chenille scarf made from scratch. She also made a striking 3-D star quilt.
