The Grayson Country Quilters enjoyed a progressive dinner and three different homes. While at these homes, we visited the sewing areas where these women do their quilting. These rooms gave us great ideas!
Home #1 – Cathy Cosby

Debbie Christiansen and Robin Jones admire one of Cathy’s finished quilts.
Guild members enjoy artichoke/spinach dip and chips and salsa.

Home #2 – Kathy Hurst
Kathy provided a step-by-step demonstration of how she sets up her sewing area. It takes about five minutes!
Kathy also gave us this month’s instructions for the Challenge Quilt.
Home #3 - Deb Bayle’s
At Deb’s home we had viewed her sewing area, had dessert and then conducted the business portion of our meeting.
The 4th of July Quilt for our drawing is completed! Kudos to Karen Dufur and Betty Shumway for tackling this project!
Jeri Montella shows a finished quilt…
and then Deb Bayles showed her version!
EveLynn Perkins made this fun quilt. It has bright pink minke on the back!
Robin Jones showed off her latest quilt. She made it for a family member.
What a fun, fun evening! We so enjoyed visiting the homes of these three guild members and getting some tips on how to better organize our own sewing areas. Thanks again to Cathy, Kathy, and Deb for making your homes available to us!
